Tell us about your come up in the game and how it all started.
Flee- I started rapping because of Prodigy god bless his soul, bro told me don’t waste my talent, I took what he said and ran with it.
Coming from Far Rockaway, aside from Mobb Deep, Stack Bundles, and Chinx, any other rappers your grew up listening to?
Flee-Coming from Far Rockaway I definitely listened to a lot of Queens Rappers, but I’d say it’s a lot of talent from Far Rock too many to mention but there’s talent everywhere it’s just hard to get heard, this rap shit ain’t easy especially if you ain’t got no bread to invest in yourself.
How did you connect with Prodigy and what piece of advice from him lives rent free in your mind. (probably more than one)
Flee- I connected with Prodigy through friends that were rapping before I thought of even picking up a pen to create, I was in the streets doing negative for a positive outcome, I had a job but to make ends meet I had to hustle, P heard me freestyle a couple times and told me to take music seriously 8 years later here we are still independent no deals at all just grinding off my talent god gave me
Did you and Eto know each other before making masterpieces together?
Flee- Actually myself and Eto didn’t know each other but I did hear a few tracks from E and said to self bro is dope. A supporter of ours told me I should do a track with Eto so I hit him in his dm told him I was a fan of his work and that a fan/supporter hit me about doing a track together, Eto sent me a song with a open verse on it the first song we did was called trump featuring Jai black I believe that was 2019 maybe even could’ve been 2018 but since then tho Myself and Eto been Family
If you woke up and was POTUS what would be your first order of business if you could do or change anything?
Flee- Maan if I was to wake POTUS I’d make health insurance free, I’d also create more hospitals for the ones that need help they put people that need help in prison because it’s easier, I’d also open more shelters to help people that’s homeless the real power is in the people so I’d do my best as a president to listen, it’s been a cycle for so long that it’s time to reverse the cycle
BONUS - Who in your opinion is the most slept on rapper in the game who deserves their flowers now?
Flee- There are many slept of rappers that deserve flowers but most definitely I’d have to say myself 30 plus projects dropped independently ain’t easy then to think of all the work I put in with all the living legends I worked with is definitely a sleeper you’d think im signed the way my discography looks. Most definitely Me I need my fucken flowers and not when I’m gone
