ETO & FLEE LORD “ROCAMERIKKKA 3” REVIEW
Welcome to Magnificent Monday. My bad folks I was supposed to review “Carter VI” but didn’t have time to fully review it. I bumped it in the car and went track by track but I’m missing the end. Lookout for that review sometime this week. To be honest I spent more of my time on my review of “ROCAMERIKKA 3” by Eto & Flee Lord.
Eto & Flee Lord reunite and take listeners on a cinematic musical experience with the third instalment of “RocAmerikkka”. The intro starts off with a grimy beat and Flee Lord rapping like rent is due. We then get into “Cash Conversion” with Eto on the production. Eto smooth rapping is like his voice was tailor made for Boombap and his lyrics Pulitzer Prize good. Flee follows like Styles after Jada with deliver and flow on point. These two make a lethal duo on wax. Two songs in and I’m vibing for real. “Cash and the money Crash and the dummy all I need is this stash & this honey”
Digi Scales ft Conway The Machine
The machine clearly hasn’t rusted a bit. His bars still slapping souls after each verse delivered. Flee drops some street knowledge after Con verse followed by Eto ending the track in style with his cadence and flow. This one might be my favorite of the project but I’m only 3 songs in. Quotable lyrics from the machine below
“Only two of my chains is still a quarter million did it major they didn’t do me no favors when I was in the hood chopping 62’s with a razor now it’s G63s I got a few different flavours that shocked em like the news they sending Luka to Lakers”
Broken Phone Deals
The beat is different the organs on fleek on this one. Quotable lyrics below:
“M-O-B-B but we don’t come from the bridge full clip on the counter for the drum on the fridge hit the winter grind then go hit the summer with kids y’all be starving for attention with no hunger to live” -Flee Lord
“First things first coming from me to you we the glue just make sure the household wins hail me or nail me if not hang me I’ll live I’m not surprised shit got janky I got happy my bitch got angry - vast life i sat tight it did not change me”. -Eto
Kitchen ft NEMS
This one bumps especially in the whip and NEMS adds that Coney Island swag with lyrics like “you be trying to save all of these hoes shoulda bought a cape pull up in a limo bumping techno to your daughters wake”
“Everybody in the kitchen can’t cook for a living”
“Sometimes The rap game reminds me of the crack game exact same tactics being used to keep us trapped mayne Unc still in the kitchen with the Newport long I’m in the stu smoking glue making two more songs we all in the struggle tell me who want wrong you don’t realize you hungry till the food all gone” -Eto
Power
“I be smoking all day this my eighth eighth walk across the clouds then go swim in the Great Lakes stay safe pull up in the grey Raif say grace we fucking up the algorithm bars like a thousand prisons you scared to looks that’s a coward’s vision.” -Flee
Zip of Badu ft Vel
Vel starts this off with a picturesque flow and witty lines. Never heard her before so it’s refreshing to discover new artists.
“I’m drippy like a coffee maker big deals lip sealed when we talking paper shoes off big spliff when I walk Jamaica and à big bong bong for you salty haters.”
Moral of Struggle ft Starz Coleman
Love Starz unique voice almost gives me Andre 3 Stacks vibes. This one is a banger for sure.
“Common sense don’t exist when your ignorance is bless”
“once you eat from the fruits of life everything else a cake walk”
Self Crowned
Different vibes It’s going take a lot more that this shit to humble us
“The Ones That Stayed” produced by DJ Green Lantern
Green Lantern is so legendary he still getting big placements in 2025. I came up on Shady Green Lantern. This beat proves he’s still got it.
Overall, this project for me was extremely good. The beats, the bars, the flows, and the features were on point.
